Remember him? There's a new 9 minute drum solo from him at drummerworld, and a couple of current pics of him. Sound quality is clear but sounds like just minidisc and a basic stereo mic, so doesn't really do him justice. But some pretty good stuff going on nevertheless and he builds it well

He puts together a well constructed solo for such a young dude - with chops to spare.

DAMN! That kid has it going on... i mean, that is one of the most musical solos i have heard in a LONG TIME! No way you can tell he is young... that was a mature solo, super musical. It kept my interest the whole entire time.

Damn that was refreshing... i loved how everything had structure and it just flowed properly... i love hearing drum solos played like that.

Shows how he's progressed since his spot almost 5 yrs ago now in the MDF '00 DVD.

On that DW page, TRJ appears to be "pumping up" a little bit [check the shoulders/ deltoids/ lats/ bi's/ tri's]...he's going to be the next-gen hybrid of Billy / Dennis/ Carter B...awa TedC, ASpears, CDave, TWesley, Tribbett, GHayward, JStaten, BFMoore, etc

    tonyroyster

I wonder what's up w those other 2 mentions on that same DW/ MD'A/ TRJ page, Modern Drummer contest winners Ilan Rubin & Gustavo Meli...no sound or vis clips
